euric AG - Names History
euric, brother and successor of Theodoric II in 466 made Toulouse his capital and under him the Visigothic kingdom reached its greatest extent, including southern Gaul, the Iberian peninsula and nearly all of Spain.
In 475 he made his first codification of Visigothic law.
He was succeeded by his son Alaric II after his death in 485.
