Description:
APROs CompactFlash to IDE adapters are designed to provide an interface between 50pin CF Card and the 40pin and/or 44pin standard IDE. Works with DOS, Windows 95, 98, XP, 2000, Linux, Unix and any other PC based operating systems. The CompactFlash to IDE adapters allow PC compatible computer with an IDE controller to use a Compact Flash Card with integrated ATA controller. Usecases are testing equipments, security systems, network computing, industrial computers and many other devices that require rugged solid state storage.
The adapter offers 6 mounting holes which allows easy mounting in your existing PC system and can be directly connected via 40pin or 44pin IDE cable to the IDE interface. The CompactFlash Card install itselve as a standard hard drive and do not require card and socket services and support also Linux system.
CompactFlash Cards can provide a robust, low current, low operating temperature and highly reliable storage solution for critical applications. APROs IDE adapters do not require any drivers. Once the module is connected and a CompactFlash Card is inserted, the ATA based Flash Card card will appear as a drive on your PC.

Remark:
In connection with some Operation Systems (e.g. Windows XP) the inserted ATA Card must be programmed as IDE-fixed. Therefore the system will recognize the card as a standard hard drive and not as a removable device. |
